Note to Parents: When you submit this report, an automatic email is generated and sent to the email address that you entered. Make sure you entered it correctly before hitting submit.  We do try to post grades as quickly as possible.  Once we have posted grades to the student’s transcript, we send you another email stating that we have done so.  If you do not receive this second email within 3 weeks of submitting grades, please call D1A to verify that we received them.

Next to the subjects your student worked on, choose the letter grade that was earned.

 

GRADING SCALE FOR GRADES K-8:

A = 100 – 93; B = 92 – 85; C = 84 – 75; D = 74 – 70; F = below 70

CORE SUBJECTS

MATH – includes any work on numbers.

ENGLISH – includes grammar, spelling, composition, vocabulary.  Average together into one grade.

SOCIAL STUDIES – includes any studies of people, culture, history, geography, government.  Average together into one grade.

SCIENCE – includes any studies of nature, human bodies (health), space, etc.  Average together into one grade.

READING – includes phonics, comprehension, literature.  Average together into one grade.

ELECTIVES

There is space for up to 5 other subjects. Do not fill in titles of materials or names of classes through co-ops, tutorials, etc.  Just list the general subject name.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Some of the things our students study or do during the year should not be counted as academic subjects but instead should be treated as fun, educational, extracurricular activities.  Fill those in here if you want to.
